I know it's become quite popular recently so it's maybe time I joined. This is actually my first time on reddit, and I created an account to ask this question. I guess the only true way you could prevent it is to make something that people feel is worth paying for. I guess it's inevitable that your content is going to be pirated in the end though, if it's something people want. I'm just trying to think about ways you could prevent piracy if you had assets publically available. I know that AAA devs will usually put easter eggs in their assets that only they would know about, which makes it easy to know when people have ripped assets from their games. I'm thinking of making some UI packs or some simple 3D packs, and the Unity asset store was the first place that came to mind to publish some assets, since it's the biggest game engine. I'm quite new to game dev, but I'm particularly interested in art for games. Oh, I'm not looking to pirate anything myself, which is what I'm getting from your comment.
